software publishing, consumer electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, and
medical diagnostic device companies.

Aylin Demirci is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Demirci specializes in intellectual property law, with an emphasis on domestic and international trademark & copyright prosecution, counseling and enforcement. Ms. Demirci’s experience includes intellectual property litigation and commercial contracts.

Ms. Demirci counsels businesses across a wide range of industries in best management practices for their trademark portfolios. She specializes in federal trademark prosecution including representing clients in appeals, oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Ms. Demirci also manages clients’ international trademark portfolios, filing trademark applications under the Madrid Protocol and coordinating with counsel around the world.

Myrna Schelling is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr
& Ferrell LLP. Ms. Schelling’s practice specializes in patent preparation, prosecution
and litigation. Her practice focuses on a broad range of intellectual matters, including
the preparation and prosecution of patents and trademarks, the analysis of patent
invalidity and infringement issues, the overseeing of domestic and international
patent portfolios, and the preparation of opinions.

Heidi Walas is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Walas specializes in corporate finance law with an emphasis on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and general business matters. Ms. Walas also represents emerging companies in connection with start-up structure formation, day-to-day operations, employment matters and technology transactions, with a particular emphasis on the representation of internet technology companies.

Ilene Goldberg is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Ms. Goldberg's practice focuses on business and intellectual property litigation, including patent, breach of contract and business torts.

Ms. Goldberg has tried jury trials, and briefed appeals, in both federal and state courts. Ms. Goldberg's practice has also included mediation and arbitration. Ms. Goldberg serves as a Judicial Arbitrator of the San Francisco County Superior Court and has also served as a private mediator.
